Here come Mr. and Mrs. Khanna!

A day after I nominated Lara Dutta for Bond Babe, check out this bit of news: she will be appearing again with our very own desi Bond! Salman Khan and Lara are to appear in and as Mr. and Mrs. Khanna! How cool is that? Glad that it is another Sohail Khan production. I am already looking forward to the film although the filming will not begin until late this year. Seriously, how ultra-cool was their chemistry in Partner?!

The second film is tentatively tilted Mr and Mrs Khanna, starring Salman Khan and Lara Dutta. It is scheduled to go on the floors in November 2007, and pre production work is on. “Both our films are premium and exciting projects of our company. We have been overwhelmed by the commercial success of Partner and are focused on delivering vastly entertaining content. We are very happy to associate with The Indian Film Company for both these films. The collective experience of The Indian Film Company would greatly complement our core expertise,” says Sohail Khan. Both the films will have Salman Khan in the lead.
